PHILOSOPHY

St. Clare Catholic School and Parish School of Religion are dedicated to recognizing the unique God-given gifts of each individual.  We work to create a Christian atmosphere that promotes the spiritual, moral, intellectual, technological, cultural, emotional, and physical development of each student.

As a small school, we create a unique family atmosphere where teacher, staff and students work, play, and pray together.  We feel our purpose is to provide all students a meaningful Catholic education which not only includes their academic learning but also a social learning where then can build friendships with others while participating in school and community projects together as a Christian family.

An ultimate aim of St. Clare is to provide educational programs for the young that strive to teach the message of faith and to spread that message to a Christian community by means of worship and service to others.  In doing this, we help the students to grow in personal holiness and their relationship with God.

We recognize our parents as being the primary educators of their children.  Together with the parents, St. Clare shares and accepts the responsibility of providing a solid Catholic education through instruction, discipline, and example that will enable the students to succeed in the future.

It is our endeavor to provide quality Catholic education which prepares students for life and helps them become Christ-like examples to society.

MISSION STATEMENT

It is our mission to teach the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ within the experience of a Christian Faith Community.  As a small school, we create a unique family where teachers, staff, and students work, play, and pray together.  Our mission is carried out in a Catholic atmosphere, which promotes the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical development of each child on a daily basis.

Our small student/teacher ratio enables us to deal with our students as individuals and work to meet their needs.  By teaching morals and values, we develop a sense of personal responsibility and encourage leadership skills, which will make our students responsible adults.  We believe that through a solid Catholic education which incorporates instruction, discipline, responsibility, and Christian example, our students will have a strong foundation on which to build their lives.
